Migrating Juvenile Sockeye In Mid-Columbia Showing High Descaling Rates; Solutions Hard To Come By

Juvenile sockeye salmon, in particular, have been taking a beating somewhere in the vicinity of the mid-Columbia River’s McNary Dam, or at the dam itself, as they head downstream toward the Pacific Ocean, but potential solutions implemented over the past two weeks do not seem to be resolving the persistent descaling issue.
